President Barack Obama addresses the U.S.
and Brazilian business communities at the
U.S.-Brazil Business Summit.

The Brazil-U.S. Business Council, in conjunction with the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and the American Chamber of Commerce for Brazil (AmCham Brazil) hosted the U.S.- Brazil Business Summit on March 19th, at the Brasil 21 Convention Center in Brasília. President Barack Obama addressed this historic event that gathered American and Brazilian business leaders to explore progress and goals in the commercial relationship.

President Obama  acknowledged the need to strengthen economic ties between the United States and Brazil to create jobs and business opportunities for both countries. The President noted that "there is no question that the United States and Brazil benefit from the economic ties we’ve developed over the years. There’s no question that strengthening those ties would be a win-win for both our nations."  To view the text of his address, please visit here.
