Internships
The Brazil-U.S. Business Council is proud to offer internship opportunities for college students during the spring, summer and fall semesters, hosting interns during the following periods:
- Spring: January - May
- Summer: June - August
- Fall: September - December
Brazil Council interns participate in the organization and marketing efforts of council meetings, and assist with business and policy research. Internships are offered without remuneration and are selected on a semester by semester basis. Please note that internship candidates must be currently matriculated students.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Responsibilities vary per semester and include:
- Researching the leading companies doing business in Brazil;
- Helping to organize and promote events featuring top tier government officials from the United States and Brazil;
- Researching sectoral information and trends in the Brazilian economy;
- Marketing the Brazil-U.S. Business Council and its programs to business executives.
Candidates should possess the following:
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office and Internet;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English;
- Attention to detail and ability to work without close supervision;
- Portuguese language skills and familiarity with Brazil (preferred).
How to Apply
The Brazil-U.S. Business Council has filled the internship position for the spring semester of 2010 (January - May). We will begin accepting applications in March for the summer semester (June - August).
