The recent presidential visit on June 30th has paved the way forward for greater Brazil-U.S. trade and investment. Both governments signed a memorandum of intent to align standards and expressed their commitment to a broader trade partnership in the future.
During the meeting, the draft report of the Brazil-U.S. Trade Agreement Study prepared by Trade Partnership Worldwide (TPW) will be presented and discussed. This is an important milestone for the Brazil Council’s trade initiative. The draft document consists of the assumptions considered in the analysis and the results of the economic impact on the U.S. economy of a potential Brazil-U.S. Trade Agreement.
