December 5, 2008: U.S. Diplomacy in the Americas

On December 5, 2008, Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Thomas A. Shannon and the U.S. Ambassadors to the nations of the Western Hemisphere will convene in Washington to reflect on U.S. policy toward the Americas. The assembled diplomats will discuss the administration's accomplishments and progress in the region as well as the challenges ahead.
