Trade Mission details:

TRAVEL: Participants are responsible for making their own flight and hotel arrangements.
VISAS: Please note that visas are required for travel to Brazil. Requests for visas should be done through the Brazilian Consulate General. Visa support letters will be issued to the participating companies.

The Brazil-U.S. Business Council, in cooperation with the National Chamber Foundation, TradeRoots, and the International Trade Administration is pleased to invite U.S. companies to participate in this trade mission. This will be a great opportunity for companies in the energy and environment sectors interested in identifying new prospects and expand their business activities to the Brazilian market. This multi-faceted event will offer a combination of one-on-one matchmaking arranged by the Department of Commerce professionals in Brazil; networking opportunities with selected companies based on the profile of companies on the mission, and meetings with key industry associations in the cities visited.

Brazil’s energy consumption grew by nearly 8% last year and will continue to grow with Brazil’s economy in the near future
Renewable resources power over 85% of Brazil’s electricity supply
Renewable sources, such as biomass, small-scale hydropower and wind power will triple supply by 2020
Brazil has invested $204 million of federal stimulus grant money in smart grid development

* Complete translation services provided, and
* Ground transportation in country to all official mission events, originating at the official mission hotel.

OPTION 2: Gold Key Plus Package

* Company destination will be defined during application process

* Delegation fee - First company representative: $1,800
* Delegation fee - Second company representative : $1,500

* Country briefing by U.S. Embassy official in São Paulo;
* Optional cities: Recife or Rio de Janeiro. Company destination will be defined during application process;
* Gold Key Service in São Paulo with personalized matchmaking in Recife or Rio de Janeiro;
* Business meetings and networking opportunities with Brazilian business associations and American Chambers of Commerce (AmChams);
* Roundtable discussion on energy and environment in Brazil;
* Complete translation services provided, and
* Ground transportation in country to all official mission events, originating at the official mission hotel.
