Brazilian inflation rose to a 12-month rate of 4.83% as of February, up from 4.59% as of January, on rising education, food and fuel costs, the Brazilian Census Bureau (IBGE) said Friday.
The monthly inflation rate in February was 0.78%, up from 0.75% in January.
Education costs rose by 5.4%. The hike was considered seasonal. Food costs were up 0.96% while fuel rose 0.79%.
