Task Force Activities:

• Develop a government outreach campaign to educate policymakers in Brazil on the need to enhance the global competitiveness of the country, as a means to promote better education, health care access, improved agricultural practices, business opportunities, and social inclusion.
• Collaborate with the Brazilian Government in the development and implementation of the National Broadband Plan.
• Share best practices with key allies to support them in the development of strong and effective IP programs such as impact studies, awards for journalists who cover the issue, and training programs for law enforcement officials.
• Lead business delegations to Brazil to advance the bilateral innovation agenda with senior policymakers. 
• Host Brazilian authorities in the United States to explore partnership opportunities in the areas of health and biotechnology.
• Support the U.S. government on their innovation dialogues and programs with Brazil.
