Brazil’s Foreign Ministry over the weekend confirmed visits this month by President Jair Bolsonaro to the United States, Chile and Israel. Details are still pending. However, the Ministry said Bolsonaro will likely travel to Washington for meetings with U.S. President Donald Trump from March 18 through March 22. He will then travel to Chile. Later in the month, he will visit Israel. Press reports said topics in Washington are likely to include U.S. access to the Alcantara rocket launching site in Brazil, the Venezuelan crisis and trade and investment issues.
