A special Brazilian Chamber of Deputies committee on Wednesday received a long-awaited report from a key member recommending a green light for impeachment proceedings against Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff. Committee member Congressman Jovair Arantes said, in his report, that evidence of budget irregularities and other abuses by the president was strong enough to warrant a full-blown impeachment procedure in the Chamber of Deputies. The committee will debate the report Thursday and Friday. A vote by the full 65-member panel is expected on Monday, April 11.
