Brazil police seek indictment of Bradesco Bank CEO

May 31, 2016 by

Brazilian Federal Police on Tuesday said they are seeking an indictment against the President of Brazil’s second largest private bank, Bradesco. Police accuse Bradesco President Luiz Trabuco of influence-peddling and fraud in relation to a series of cases before specialized Brazilian tax courts. A judge will decide whether to hand down the indictment. In a statement, Bradesco denied the accusations, saying many of the details presented by police were incorrect.
