State-run oil company Petrobras on Wednesday reduced its wholesale gasoline and diesel prices for the second time in three weeks, the company announced. Petrobras cut gasoline prices 3.1 percent and diesel by a hefty 10.4 percent. The reduction follows more modest cuts ordered in October. Petrobras cited lower international oil prices for the decision, which should help rein in worrisome Brazilian inflation.
