Brazil’s Rousseff seeks court order to reverse impeachment

Lawyers for former Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff on Thursday filed motions with the Supreme Court in an effort to overturn a Senate vote removing Rousseff from power. The Senate voted Wednesday by an overwhelming margin to remove Rousseff. The former president was accused of budget manipulation. In their motion before the court, lawyers for Rousseff said errors were committed in the impeachment procedure.
