Brazilian state-run energy company Petrobras and global oil giant Exxon Mobil on Thursday night signed a Memorandum of Understanding in pursuit of a broad range of business opportunities. The two companies said they will study possible strategic partnerships covering the whole gamut of oil and natural gas development. They said they will also explore possible partnerships in the area of petrochemicals, within Brazil and elsewhere. The two companies are already partners in six offshore oil and gas development blocks in Brazil.
