Brazil’s Regulatory Environment: Improvements to Foster Predictability
Invited by the Ministry of Planning, the Brazil Council hosted a Parallel Session on Regulatory Environment during the Brazil Investment Forum on May 29, at the WTC São Paulo.
The BUSBC Parallel Session, titled “Brazil’s Regulatory Environment: Improvements to Foster Predictability” comprised a discussion between Brazilian agencies’ leadership and the Private Sector on regulatory quality and technical autonomy of the agencies.
The interview panel included Marcela Carvalho, Executive Secretary of the Foreign Trade Office (Camex); Ricardo Maia Bezerra, Director of the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC); Renato Porto, Director of the National Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA); and Kélvia Albuquerque, Special Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic of Brazil.
