This year’s Fall Mission will focus on advancing our healthcare agenda and presenting U.S. Chamber’s study on the impact of non-communicable diseases on workers’ productivity in Brazil. Our delegation will gather senior executives in Brasília for two days of meetings with high-level officials of the Brazilian government. We plan to request meetings with representatives from the Ministry of Health, Planning, Finance, Labor and Congress.
On December 9, Renard Aron, Vice-President of Government Affairs & Healthcare Policies for Latin America from Johnson & Johnson will represent the BUSBC Healthcare Taskforce and lead the business delegation during the government meetings. On December 10, we will host government, academia and stakeholders for an event to launch the study at the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI).
The mission will provide unique opportunities for members of the Council to engage with Brazilian government leadership at the highest levels. Preliminary agenda to be released soon.
Mission fee is $2,500 (excludes flight and lodging). Fee is waived for member companies that are part of the USCC Global Healthcare Initiative.
