The Council was a partner organization during the 2017 Brazil Investment Forum, organized by the Brazilian government and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). The forum explored investment opportunities in Brazil and attracted 1500+ investors, foreign government authorities and stakeholders.
The Council hosted a networking luncheon during the conference attended by Brazil’s Ministers of Finance; Planning; and Health, U.S. Ambassador McKinley, President of IDB, Brazil’s Secretary of Foreign Trade, among others, and about 60 member companies representatives. It also hosted a parallel session on financing models for infrastructure development. The panel included representatives from Brazilian Ministry of Planning, BNDES, GE, AECOM, and investment funds Blackrock and BF Capital, moderated by the Financial Times.
