The U.S.-Brazil CEO Forum was created in 2007 by the United States and Brazilian governments to strengthen economic and commercial ties between the two countries. The CEO Forum, comprised of private and public sector representatives, convenes private sector leaders from the U.S. and Brazil to provide joint recommendations for the governments on priorities in the bilateral trade and investment relationship.
In the United States, the CEO Forum is chaired by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce and by the Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Adviser for International Economic Affairs. In Brazil, the Forum is chaired by the Presidential Chief of Staff (Casa Civil) and by the Brazilian Minister of Development, Industry, and Foreign Trade. Ten companies from each country participate in the Forum. Please view here the current list of U.S.-Brazil CEO Forum member companies.
