Briefing with Deputy Secretary of Energy Daniel B. Poneman

On October 4, 2011, the Brazil-U.S. Business Council (BUSBC) will co-host a private sector debriefing with Deputy Secretary of Energy Daniel B. Poneman to discuss private sector priorities in the bilateral energy relationship, including Deputy Secretary Poneman's recent trip to Brazil as well as the Strategic Energy Dialogue (SED).

BUSBC hosted a roundtable with Deputy Secretary Poneman in August before his trip to Brazil and the launch of the U.S. and Brazilian SED.

The Strategic Energy Dialogue is a presidential-level partnership that will provide a forum for the United States and Brazil to work together on the development of safe, secure, and affordable energy in an environmentally sound way, including oil, natural gas, biofuels, clean energy, and civilian nuclear energy.
